Consumerism is deeply ingrained in our memories. Our pliant desires for new technology has left us constantly wanting more. Some think it’s having a cataclysmic effect on the well being of our society, but I just think that it’s making people unhappy with their lives.
The goal of advertising it to make people feel like there’s something missing in their lives, and that the only way to feel “complete” is to buy their product.
