After mowing the lawn today, I think back and realize that I wasn’t present at all while doing this mundane task. One lesson i’ve learnt is that the only thing we truly have in life is the present moment, that’s why savoring it is so important. Here’s a few ways to stay present while mowing the lawn.
There is always some sort of tension in your body. It’s draining you of your energy and sanity, causing your consciousness to deviate from the present moment. It is extremely hard to live in the present moment 90%+ of the time, but these tips will help you notice when you’re distracted and bring you back to the present moment.
